Colorado photos
If people are interested in seeing what I was doing instead of going to Nationals, I've posted photos from my trip to Colorado.

What's with the little blackout thing in the photo of you in the freezing lake?

I like the weasel.

Great photos: reminds me of what I used to do when gas was cheaper & I wasn't hooked on Scrabble.

Yeah, so the water was much clearer than I thought when I asked a friend to take a photo. Then it was much colder than I realized as I waited 30 seconds for him to figure out how to turn the camera on. There's no way I'm posting the uncensored photo online.

It was really cool to see the weasel effortlessly bound through the meadow. I thought it had run into a bush to hide, but then it popped out and posed for a couple of photos.

Awesome.

Every time I see a marmot, I just want to punt it. Not a malicious thing, they just look very puntable. Same with pigeons.

The ice cave made me anxious.

I'll have to remember to keep you away from my cats...

The roof of the snow tunnel was at most a few feet thick. Enough light was getting through for plants to grow and flower which was really cool to see. So it was safer (and a lot more fun) to crawl through it than to walk over it.
